One of the few examples of negative "was-is"

One of the few examples of a negative "was-is", one of the many examples of a flashback to the past.
2015, one of the first joint projects with the Poroshenko Foundation. The Foundation purchased washing machines and dryers, our team bought plumbing fittings and provided installation, and the Armed Forces' rear provided old trailers. The result was several dozen very simple, but very popular laundries.
No, I remember the most difficult part of that project. The rear received washing machines in the warehouse and stupidly refused to give them to us for installation. "What are you doing, you know who bought them," they shouted, protecting the equipment. "Never! Don't let them in! Do not give it away! Keep it safe! President! We won't let them! Chest! On the embrasure! Did it take some... effort... to explain that he did buy the equipment to install and transfer it to the troops?
And one of the kungs ended up in the 79th... I didn't follow the fate of these machines very closely, it was just a project, just a job.
And HE, THE ANIMAL, turned out to be resilient! Seven years, tens of thousands of kilometers, tons of washed uniforms. It was a good kung. Everything was fine, except that it was not protected from Iskander, and a few weeks ago... eh. The blast wave blew everything away, but the cart miraculously survived - it was dragged to the base and they will be thinking about its fate.
When we have completed our current projects, we will definitely start working on such kungs, which are a mega-important thing for the frontline. More important than many things, I say this as a rear-guard.
