At the beginning of the war, when the shortage of vehicles in the army was incredible, and we were just planning to buy trucks, Sprava Hromadas and the Poroshenko Foundation, like all volunteers, found and delivered pickup trucks to the front to help the sometimes dilapidated Soviet URALs, MAZs and UAZs that were in military units.

The pickup truck is a favorite of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a lightweight, versatile vehicle that can deliver food or ammunition to a position, evacuate a wounded person, take a group to the front line, and can join in by carrying an ATGM or MANPADS or a machine gun in the back.

In 2022, the frontline survived, largely thanks to volunteer pickup trucks, and we, along with you who support the activities of Community Matters, also joined in to help.
