Spartan, Sultan, Samaritan

You have to remember that before the start of the great war, none of the Western countries believed in our ability to resist the Russian army. We were given either two or three days, or two or three weeks before defeat. And, accordingly, we were not given heavy weapons, assuming that they would instantly be among the Russian spoils.

When no one believed that Ukraine could and should receive heavy weapons, Sprava Hromadas and the Poroshenko Foundation not only believed, but also acted. We obtained the necessary licenses and started purchasing armored vehicles for the Armed Forces.

We were lucky enough to find a dozen British armored vehicles FV103 Spartan, FV104 Samaritan, FV105 Sultan in excellent condition (almost "sit, start, drive") and for a reasonable price - 1,315,710 UAH including delivery and maintenance before sending them to the front.

FV103 Spartan

A tracked armored personnel carrier for the transportation of small specialized combat teams, such as anti-aircraft missile groups. It was developed in the 1970s, entered service with the British Army in 1978 and remained in service until 2009.

FV104 Samaritan

A variant of the armored vehicle designed to be used as an ambulance; it can evacuate up to 6 wounded.

FV105 Sultan

A variant with a higher roof and a larger "workspace" inside, designed to be used as a mobile headquarters or command center.
