We will write about yesterday, about trucks and baths, about millions of hryvnias and tons of cargo later, because the information will not go away. But something happened yesterday that requires a separate post. Well, it's clear from the photos.
This is a long-standing tradition with us, dating back to the 14th of July - we bring electronics, equipment, medicine, but we never forget about goodies, in any form available. It is not complicated, not expensive, but it is a nice and extremely necessary part of helping the military - to remind them of home, comfort, family, and care.
It can be strawberries. It can be cherries. Or Kyiv cake. A lot, a lot, a lot, a lot. That is, literally, they placed a separate order at the factory, which was prepared separately, delivered separately to Dnipro, and then we transported it ourselves.
And then there was something that cannot be told without a kind smile and some strange feeling in my throat. They were serious guys: paratroopers and tankers, rangers and infantry. When they saw the cakes, they somehow... relaxed before our eyes, their eyes drifted. What was going through their minds at that moment? A friendly feast and celebration? An evening with your wife in the kitchen? A child's birthday party? Something so homely, cozy, dear...
We feel happy to help the military with equipment and ammunition. But yesterday we managed to help them in a completely different way, and the whole team felt happy about it.
What's on the schedule, strawberries? Maybe early Kherson strawberries?
