Today we are celebrating a bit because we have a good reason to do so. The 201st mobile laundry and shower complex has been completed at the Community Matters workshops.

Two hundred washing and shower complexes. 197 units have already been delivered to the 3rd Brigade. On average, one module provides 750-800 soldiers, so we are talking about 150-160 thousand (!) military personnel who have access to basic hygiene and comfort.

Here are some facts about our project:

• Mobile showers were indeed invented by Maryna Poroshenko in 2014, but they were not implemented then because the rotation and recovery of soldiers was established quickly enough and there was no urgent problem.
• No, we were not the first to start making mobile showers. In fact, in 2022, the volunteers of Community Matters saw someone's shower and thought: "We can do better." And they did. And then continued to do so.
• Our mobile showers are the most autonomous, independent of power and water supply, and can be used anywhere, any time of year, in any weather.
• As of August 20, we have handed over 197 complexes to the Armed Forces. The total amount of funding (Poroshenko Foundation + donations from citizens through the Community Matters initiative) is approximately UAH 154 and a half million.
• Two production facilities (in Cherkasy and Romny) plus our own production facility at Sprava Hromadas are involved in the production of our washing and shower complexes. More than 100 employees are involved.
• We have transferred 78 systems to the Land Forces, 78 to the Air Force, 21 to the Air Force, 12 to the Navy, 7 to the Special Forces, and in August, we launched a project to supply the TRO forces, and the first system has already been delivered.

We are celebrating the anniversary, but not the two hundredth, of the laundry and shower complex! We have a lot to be proud of!
