23 years old, poor eyesight
05 July 2023
Today is the day when the "normal" people remember Articles 17 and 65 of the Constitution of Ukraine, while the "mama's darlings" camp continues to moan about the violation of the rights of Ukrainian citizens to leave the country freely.
I'd like you to meet Max.
His teammates call him Maksym Oleksandrovych, but I call him "Dandelion". At the beginning of the war, he was 23 years old, had poor eyesight, an honest "white ticket" and the ability to leave for Europe/Africa/Asia/Australia at any time. He is also a biotechnologist by training. Well, in general, a complete set, the only thing missing is a philharmonic violin degree.
He appeared at our base on February 26. At that time, many people noticed that in the early days, some very young characters appeared at the battalion's base. Some came on their own, some with older family members, we had a whole flock of them.
He asked to join the squad. We gave him an assault rifle. We looked at it, sighed, smiled. And took the machine gun away. He helped in the kitchen and took out the garbage, cut sandwiches and mopped the floor. Then he joined the drivers, and then helped at the repair base. He had his eyesight corrected. He went to the TCC and forced them to send him for a second VLC and issue a full military ID card.
ow he is a full-fledged deputy head of our service station for the repair of heavy equipment. He almost has his own call sign, "Dandelion". Not in front of everyone, so don't tell anyone.
P.S. And not to write twice, here are more photos from the service station. The second Foden "Kid" 8-by-6 has already been repaired, is being tidied up and is on its way to the front. Two more trucks crossed the border last night, and we will have to pay almost 600 thousand hryvnias for their delivery from England alone. We really need your help.
