This is what our volunteer base looks like in the evening, although it is looking more and more like the famous 7th Kilometer market - containers arrive every day, early in the morning and late in the evening.
Three airborne brigades have brought their containers, two artillery brigades are in the process of doing so, and a cargo from a marine brigade is on the way. All branches and types of troops are waking up - there are no alternatives, the Ministry of Defense will not provide mobile baths, and you need to wash and dry yourself constantly.
Do you want to talk about the sad part? The need of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for such complexes, and I am talking about the "acute" need and I mean only the advanced units, is 1100-1300 sets, I may be wrong by a hundred. Our cost price, the volunteer cost price, without profit and with arm-twisting of suppliers, is a little over half a million hryvnias. I'm not going to multiply it now, because we still can't cope with such figures. And the trouble is that rarely any large charitable organizations pay attention to this simplest and most important household need of an ordinary military, any military.
But we have a plan for this year - 100 complexes. That's... oh, that's 50 million. Well, yes, Petro Poroshenko pays half the bills, but the rest is still tens of millions. Math, damn it. And when a team brings us containers, we save some resources. Or when a team brings us trailers, it's the same story. We move such teams to the front of the line, because they require less donations. And now the 25th and 77th airborne brigades are at the top of the list - the former got trailers and the latter got containers.
We want everything to happen faster, but it is not up to us. Yes, it depends on you now. This is the math.
