Why the only shipbuilding company in Ukraine is now making volunteer stoves instead of fulfilling government orders is a fucking rhetorical question. PATAMUSHTA GLADIOLUS!
Well, we are happy about stoves! Or rather, long-burning convection stoves...
Let's make a rough estimate. One stove is needed for a conventional ward of 10 people. This is a good arrangement, where everyone will be able to warm up and get warm, where everyone will be able to dry their shoes. At the cost of 5500 UAH for a stove, we will get a very sparing cost of heating one of our soldiers - 550 UAH. Of course, this is very conditional... not counting the cost of pipes, a chainsaw and oil for it, back and forth. But we have determined the order of cost.
And so it turns out that each conditional donation of 550 hryvnias means one warmed soldier. Each conditional donation of 100 dollars to Peipal means seven people are warmed. This is to understand that there are no "small" donations, no "modest" amounts. There is warmth from our care. The military feel it, believe me.
