We bought, brought and delivered pickup trucks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We also bought, brought and handed over tank tractors. Oh, and armored vehicles, wheeled and tracked. Oh, and we buy, bring and transfer trucks.
Buses...
At first, we were extremely surprised, asked several times, and then realized the problem and started looking for it. The problem is that every 10-14 days the brigade has to pick up 100-150 trained soldiers from the training center and deliver them to the front line. This is across the country, over 800 kilometers. And there are only two options: either to transport them in twenty-seater school PAZs, the only buses in the brigade, or to pay crazy money to a commercial carrier. And there is no money...
Shall we talk about the attitude to the personnel? Shall we talk about taking care of the soldiers? Shall we talk about 800 kilometers in a tiny school bus?
The 79th Brigade asked us to do it.
We found a sale site for a bankrupt company in the Czech Republic. Then we found someone who checked the technical condition and then drove the buses to Ukraine. Here we completely repaired them, tinted the windows and handed them over. Buses ... to add to the collection of donated vehicles. UAH 663,400 for the purchase of two WORKING 55-seat buses? One of them is also equipped with a dry closet, by the way. From our point of view and with our attitude to the everyday life of the Defenders, this is the right purchase.
...and now the buses are asking for two more crews, so we need to find money.
