The cars underwent a quick maintenance at a site in the UK. Their age is impressive - about 30 years, give or take. But the mileage is low, they were stored carefully and serviced regularly. So we decided on an experiment: the trucks were transported to Poland by road, crossed the border by road and unloaded in Lviv. Will it reach Kyiv on its own?
Hoba, and they are already at our base. A 600-kilometer march. Quite calmly, without incidents and breakdowns, without emergencies. Fuel consumption is 15 liters per hundred, we experimentally accelerated to 120 km/h, although it is comfortable at 70.

The perfect army donkey to carry everything from ammunition and food to spare parts and personnel. The dream of any zampotil and zampotekh! And we want to bring a LOT of them. For different brigades, different types of troops. We are already defecting and servicing several hundred trucks in Europe, and we are creating a bank of spare parts and components.
And finally, about money. The average cost of buying such a truck with delivery to Kyiv is about $17,000, give or take, prices vary from site to site. Traditionally, Petro Poroshenko pays half of the cost, which means that for the volunteer budget, ours, we pay about $8,500 for the truck. For a truck! The truck has traveled 600 kilometers and is ready to move on to the East soon.
And if we manage to raise enough money, we will buy hundreds of these trucks. That's the math!
