Three months ago, a contract was signed for the purchase of 50 DAF YAX 4442 army trucks, including several cranes, container trucks, and tilt-top trucks.
It took three months to raise the money, deliver them from the Netherlands to Kyiv, repair them, and start handing them over. Tomorrow the first 5 vehicles will go to the Armed Forces. After that, there will be 5 vehicles a week, as we have few resources and reserves, and repairs will be carried out as money is received.
A year ago, we bought the first two dozen British Leyland DAF 45150s, and now the number of purchased trucks is approaching 300. We have now bought 50 Dutch DAF YAX 4442s, but we understand that these figures will not be final.
