An essay on "How did you spend your summer of '22" is not much different from an essay on "How did you spend your spring of '22". We collected, searched, found, bought, delivered. There were "bright" projects, like the MLS SHIELD armored vehicles or the #OchiArti UAV. There was daily routine work - from radios and helmets to quads and trucks.
Here it would be very appropriate to say that this is not quite right, and that volunteers should not provide for the army. However... Strange as it may seem, they should! We all have to, as a country, we have to, by any means available and inaccessible - step by step, save lives and bring victory closer. So...
Yes, and one more thing about PR. We love to read idiotic comments from idiots about PR. The numbers on the scoreboard, as they say. Over the past six months, we have raised 147,669,356 hryvnias in donations. That's almost one and a half million. And in these six months alone, our... association? group? party? gang? has procured and delivered goods worth 1,234,145,284 hryvnias. One billion... Two hundred and thirty-four million... And so on. Petro Poroshenko and his companies paid the difference.
So, about PR. We have purchased and delivered 200,000 individual first aid kits to the troops. And this is no joke. They were transferred directly to the warehouses of the Medical Forces Command, and from there they were distributed to the brigades via the army line. Who knows that the first aid kits have saved hundreds and thousands of lives? Everyone. Who knows that this is the merit of the private sector? Yeah... And so on, down the list. And where did the bread come from in Kyiv stores during the first two months of the hottest phase... It's all about PR, right?
But we don't really care about PR, because the aid is not for PR, it is for victory. It is for victory and for victory.
An essay on "How did you spend the fall of '22" will be no different. There will be cargo. There will be trucks (a lot) and generators (a lot), there will be stoves (a lot) and bath and laundry complexes (as many trailers as we can find, but a lot). There will be bright projects worth hundreds of millions - right now we are waiting for a container to arrive with... something very bright! That's exactly as much as we can raise - the entire amount will be used to help the army. And then we will forget how much was donated and will only remember it on the next anniversary of the Victory.
