Yuriy Biryukov, ambassador of the NGO "Community Matters":
"My inner grouch is grumbling, although I'm frankly anticipating 'smart advice' right now.
So...
Yes, you need helmets and body armor. We also need collimator sights and thermal imagers. Of course, every fighter needs a quality knife and a multi-tool, whatever that means. Also, lightweight boots, knee pads and elbow pads for some reason, gloves with cut fingers and sunglasses. Yeah. And today we did manage to find lots and lots of money and bought cots and futons. Ouch.
You see, all these tactical things listed in the previous paragraph work well only for a fighter who is well rested and well fed. He has the opportunity to wash his uniform and dry his shoes. A soldier who does not sleep on the floor, with a thin God knows what called an army mat under him.
So... multitools will have to wait. At first, there were many hundreds of cots. Now we have them.
