Sometimes some small detail helps you look back and see the stages of project development - it's an incredible feeling.
Initially, they just gave us Leyland DAF trucks with a bare platform to install the ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun. Then we saw how the 25th Brigade had improved such a truck by adding low sides. We looked at the modifications made by the 104th Brigade of the TRO - they added an awning and a bench for the crew. We listened to the comments of the 14th Tank Brigade's actual operation of such a complex: now we are installing a huge searchlight and power source for it on the next vehicles, so it will be easier to find mopeds at night.
Three days ago, we handed over two trucks to one of the battalions of the 93rd Brigade, and now they are teasing us with a sighting system that other volunteers are installing for them. It is a very, very interesting solution - we will study it.
This is how the project of installing anti-aircraft guns on the chassis of our trucks is developing. We have already delivered 14 such vehicles, which is a lot. But we can do much more, we have a stock of platforms at our site in the UK, we just need to buy them out.
