Because the help of our partners is invaluable - they give us trucks. Because the supply from the Ministry of Defense is invaluable - they buy trucks. But all this is not enough! And if at the beginning of the war the open need for trucks was measured in thousands, now... taking into account the growth of the army... taking into account losses.
We have signed contracts for three and a half hundred Leyland DAF trucks. Wow, volunteers are buying trucks by the hundreds! Doesn't it sound impressive? But... This is not even a drop in the bucket.
Trucks are something that Yuriy and I get asked about from all sides in person and in messengers. This is what is asked for more often than Starliners or pickup trucks. This is what is needed now - unpretentious and reliable all-wheel drive diesel trucks. The "Shishiga" of a normal person.
Seven vehicles were handed over on Saturday, the total payment for them was UAH 3,661,291, the traditional half going to Petro Poroshenko, the traditional other half to you. The vehicles were transferred to the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade and the 77th Airborne Brigade. And our vehicles are working in the 25th and 46th, 79th and 406th, tankers in the 17th and 54th reconnaissance battalions. And so on, there is a long list of military units. Those who have already received it are asking for more. Those who have not yet received it are asking for more.
The speed of truck buyback, repair and delivery depends on your help. The delivery plans are already scheduled for February and March, and we can bring in more. But we need your help.
