Petro Poroshenko, the fifth President and one of the "sponsors" of the "Cause of Communities" in helping the Armed Forces, recently visited the foggy Albion... Here, one immediately recalls the news clichés of pro-government TV channels and bloggers such as "Poroshenko left Ukraine, taking XXXX suitcases with money..." But no! Oleksiy Oleksiyovych visited the storage base for DAF-LEYLAND trucks, which we, the Community Business, thanks to you, dear Citizens, purchase for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Look how much work we still have to do!!! My head is spinning from how many more trucks need to be driven, repainted, repaired... But this will happen only if we raise funds... half of the money of how much these trucks cost, because as always, within the framework of the "Make Poroshenko poorer" campaign, the rule "1+1" (not to be confused with the name of the channel) is in effect, which means that for every hryvnia we give, the fifth President will add his own. Why? Because it's his dream! (Watch this video on our YouTube channel... he spoke frankly about it there).
In the meantime.... Yuriy Biryukov, ambassador and ideological inspirer of the Community Cause, commented on the event:
I'm sorry, but I am purely practical and terribly cynical. I base any of my emotions, any of my actions, any of my plans on one question: will this bring our victory closer or not? And I choose those options that will bring victory closer.
The photo shows some of our trucks. There are two key words here - "part" and "our". To date, we have signed firm contracts for the purchase of 242 Leyland DAF 45.150 trucks. This is a 4x4 wheel configuration, 6-liter diesel engine, tilt, kung, crane and fuel tanker variants. 242 trucks! And we are now looking for this model all over Europe, true to the principle of maximum unification of service and repair.
Out of all these hundreds, we have already brought 30 pieces to Ukraine, some have already been delivered, and a large batch will be delivered to the troops this week.
This work, this project, these trucks definitely bring our victory closer. By transporting ammunition and people, food and fuel.
Do you want to bring victory closer? Do you want to stop hearing the sirens and the roar of airplanes? Yes, let's help the army.
