Yes, and this also happens. Yes, and it is also inevitable.
DAF Leyland 45.150 with our internal number 143 was transferred to one of the Air Assault Brigades a year ago. It lived a long life in the UK, it was brought back and fully restored in Ukraine, it served a year in the fierce war and yesterday it "died" - it was hit by hail. Of course, no service station will be able to fix it.
People were not injured!
To date, this is the first case of irretrievable loss of "our" truck out of 295 trucks we have already transferred. Good statistics. It is sad, but the people are safe - and this is the most important thing. The truck is just iron.
The question of helping the brigade arose. Our tireless scout Nazar has already found a similar truck and now we need to... well, as always, raise UAH 344,700, pay for it, bring it, restore it, and hand it over. Half of the cost, as usual, is covered by the Poroshenko Foundation, so for the price of a regular used pickup truck we will get another full-fledged truck.
