As you can see from the photos, our mobile repair shops are a relatively recent but already fully operational project. So far, we have handed over 16 of these vehicles to the troops, and we plan to deliver at least 30 more this year. The army needs many hundreds of such vehicles, most likely thousands.
To deliver such a vehicle to the army, members of our community write dozens of boring posts and raise funds. Then we buy the vehicles, make repairs, make booths and equip them with everything we need. So far, so good, right?
The math: the machine costs 710,000 hryvnias(including delivery and repair), the booth costs 312,000 hryvnias, and the equipment with machines, keys, and tools costs 298,000 hryvnias. The total cost is 1,320,000 hryvnias.
If we handed over 16 such cars, does that mean we spent 21,120,000 hryvnias? If you just multiply it, yes. But no, we spent less. 9 vehicles were equipped with all the tools at the expense of local budget subventions to military units. That is, we "saved" 2,682,000 hryvnias. It's not a small amount of money. We can buy 4 more trucks with this money.
There are local authorities that help the military. We know them, remember them, and honor them. There are local authorities that ignore the needs of the military and do not help them with subventions. We also know them and remember them even better. Someday we will win, the war will end, and local elections will be held again. And we guarantee that we will make every effort to speak eloquently about the former and especially about the latter.
Political funerals will be held in renovated stadiums to the beat of purchased drums!
