Let's start with the photo.
This is a Danish 155 mm CAESAR self-propelled gun. It is a very technologically advanced, very precise self-propelled artillery system that is already working in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Denmark had 19 of them and they all came to Ukraine as aid. In other words, Denmark gave us ALL of its modern UAVs, in their entirety. And even if the Danes really want to help us again, they don't have any more of these systems.
I can also post photos of Italian M109L self-propelled artillery systems or American L-119 howitzers, I can add photos of the familiar American M-777 or British Challenger 2 tanks. All these weapons have in common that they are already being successfully used in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are also a preferred target for Russian Lancet kamikaze drones. A couple of kilograms of explosives regularly break down expensive and much-needed armored vehicles.
We were given drawings. We were given ready-made ideas. We were given the numbers. All the artillerymen I know confirmed that there is a fairly simple and effective solution (up to a point). A banal metal frame, high-quality metal mesh. Valeriy Prozapas told us from his own experience that in two cases out of three, the mesh saved the equipment. And this is incredibly effective.
But... If you multiply the number of nets from the order by the quite "democratic" cost, the amount is more than 5 million hryvnias. We are talking about hundreds of sets of different sizes for different equipment.
And I need to urgently raise 5 million hryvnias to protect our artillery!
And I am asking for help. I am asking strongly and persistently - this is an extremely important and urgent task. And I am asking for reposts or any other methods of assistance, now (here I am characteristically wiggling my eyebrows) to keep the artillery working, especially (here I am again characteristically wiggling my eyebrows) to get the most important result for us - victory."
